It is with great sadness and heartache that the family announces the passing of Ja'Cari King Phillips.
Born September 5, 2018, and gained his wings on August 26, 2021 at 10:43 AM, due to many different heart problems for almost 3 long years of fighting. Heaven now gained another Angel. He became extremely tired and exhausted. He was so strong and always has been so resilient to any problems thrown his way. He had fought long and hard to be here with us and he never gave up fighting. He doesn't have to fight anymore. He is now at peace.
He is survived by his father, James Phillips, and his mother, Sierrea Williams; his sister, Taliyah Butcher and god-brother, Remez Long. Also surviving are his grandparents, Andrea Williams, James (Desiree) Czerpak and Terell Allen, all of Akron, and Morrell Phillips of Columbus; six uncles, seven aunts, and two very special people, his aunt Sarah Friend, and godmother, Monica Dutch, along with great-grandparents and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his uncles, Cody Czerpak and Christian Gibson.
He has impacted so many lives in so many ways. He was an inspiration to all of us.
He enjoyed watching his daddy's music videos, playing with his sister, watching Elmo, snuggling with mommy and daddy and swinging. He's always been an amazing little boy with the cutest smile that would entice you.
