Jack E. Bonnette Sr., 79, of Akron, passed away on January 23, 2018.
He was born in Akron on April 10, 1938. Jack proudly served in the U.S. Army. He had many interests, including bingo, playing pool, and antique cars. He also enjoyed assembling model cars. Jack could often be found traveling around his Ellet neighborhood in his electric wheelchair. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sarah Bonnet and brother, George Bonnette.
He will be deeply missed by his girlfriend, Nora Abbott; sons, Jack Bonnette Jr., James Bonnette, and John Bonnette; sister, Mary Burch; and several grandchildren. Jack will also be missed by many close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 12-2 p.m., followed by a 2:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
