Jack D. Thomas
Jack D. Thomas, 88, passed away on October 17, 2008. Jack was a member of Eagles #555 and Jr. Order of Mechanics. He enjoyed playing cards and yardsales. Jack will be remembered as a wonderful father and greatly missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his wife Margaret; and sister Loretta Bales. Survivors include sons Jack (Kathy) and Garry (Patty); 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m., Rev. Ben Cully officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St. PO Box 2090 Akron, OH 44398-6153.
