Jack F. Faulkner, 77, of Tallmadge, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2001. Jack retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and from the U.S. Postal Service after 22 years of service. He served during World War II, having fought at Anzio Beach, Italy. Jack loved coin collecting, fishing, and playing horseshoes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Tecla Faulkner; parents-in-law, Steve and Ann Durana; daughter, Martha Ann Faulkner; and brother, Eddie Faulkner. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martha Faulkner; daughter, Carol Ann (Jim) Schroeder of Akron; brother, George Faulkner of Akron; grandchildren, Richard Eugene (Michelle) Schroeder, Timothy Duane (Andrea) Schroeder, and Jack Edward Schroeder; great-grandchildren, Erica, Kyle, Deanna, Drew, and Jack. Friends and family may call on Friday, November 30th from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
