Jack Edward Hickey

Jack Edward Hickey, 74, an Army veteran, peacefully passed away on June 1, 2018. He was born December 31, 1943 in Akron to late parents Frank and Edith Hickey. Jack worked at the Key Shop at Chapel Hill for 6 years where he was loved by his customers and became known as the "Key Man." He enjoyed Ohio sports, spending time with his family and was an avid animal lover. Jack is survived by his daughter, Danyelle (Dawn) Miller; grandsons, Alex Bennett and Grayson Gano; granddaughter, Allie Bennett; close family friend, Sharen Hickey; and extended family.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 10am-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will take place at 11am. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH to follow.
