Jackie J. Buffington

Jackie Buffington, 79, of Akron, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on May 7, 2023. She was born in Wooster, OH on July 11, 1943 to the late Edward and Pearl {Stafford} Gentry.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Dave Buffington.

Jackie is survived by her loving daughter Pam (Jereme Rutter) Reed; grandsons Raymond Bennett, Joseph Reed and Devin Rutter; granddaughter Cheyenne Rutter; step-daughters Beth (Dennis) Blankshine and Dawnie (Larry) Feciuch; step-son Dennis (Sharon) Buffington and Davey (Andrea) Buffington; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

For a lifelong Ohio resident, Jackie absolutely hated the snow! She did enjoy fishing in the warmer months, and listening to Elvis.
