Jackie L. Ramsey, 58, passed away after a lengthy illness on May 8, 2007, joining her parents Robert and Clarice Ramsey. Jackie was a long-time resident of Akron. She graduated from Ellet High School in 1967 and retired from the City of Akron after over 35 years of service. She is survived by many dear friends. Special thanks to Crossroads Hospice team, Jessica, Mary, Linda, and Kit, and the staff at Ridgewood Healthcare Center for their care and support during Jackie's illness. Per Jackie's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Monday, 3 p.m. at East Liberty Cemetery, Rt. 619 in Green, Rev. Fr.
