Jackie M. Shockey

Jackie M. Shockey, 75 of Akron, passed away on May 29, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years whom she adored, Larry Shockey. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, and going to all of their sporting events. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jackie worked for Kohl's Department Store for 6 years and met many long lasting friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory, loving daughter, Tammy Parsons (Bob); sons, Troy Parsons and Larry (Kimberly) Shockey; grandchildren, Robert, Samantha (Daryl), Brittani, Brandy, Rebeka, Jessica and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Payton, Ella, and Dillion; special daughters, Dawn and Sherri; sister in-law, Betty; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Sunday June 4, 2017 from 2-5pm and funeral service will be held on Monday June 5, 2017 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton. Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor Randy Baker officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
