Jackie Page Simms, 75, passed away April 15, 2007. Jackie was born August 8, 1931 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Robert and Mabel Simms. He served in the U.S. Army and previously worked at RJR Filmco. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and working on cars. Jackie was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Faye; sisters, Pauline and Esther; and brothers, Robert and Kenneth. He is survived by his children, Norman (Mary) of Buchannon, WV, Kenneth (Donna) of Franklin, NJ, Jackie of Ravenna, Ronald (Eva) of Ravenna, John of Akron, Sandra Gonzales of LaBelle, FL, Stephen (Amy) of Akron, David (Mary) of Canton, and Jason of Akron; brother, James (Jerry) of Brady Lake; twenty-one grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call TODAY from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
