JACKSON B. KEASLER
Jackson V. Keasler, 83, of Akron, passed away April 29, 2002 at Akron City Hospital. He was born January 10, 1919 in Murphy, North Carolina to the late George & Myrtle Keasler. Jackson was retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. after 34 years of service He is preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Keasler, in July of 2001. Survivors include his daughters, Pam (William) Joseph of Tennessee and Mary (John) Armour of Akron; son Victor (Lanie) Workman of Portage Lakes; brother Charles Max (Louise) Keasler of Mogadore; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Ellis officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
