Jacqueline Mae "Jackie" Gibson

Jacqueline Mae "Jackie" Gibson, 91, of Akron, passed away on June 15, 2024. She was born on October 9, 1932 to the late Robert and Grace {Beck} Robideau. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Gibson in 2016.

Jackie is survived by her loving daughter, Denise (Ernie) Hutko; grandchildren Alechia and Matthew; great-grandchildren Allison (Zach) and Andrew; many dear friends and neighbors. We will all miss her.

All are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Friday, July 5th from 5:00 p.m. until the memorial service that begins at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Willis officiating. Following services, Jackie will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Eugene Gibson at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
