Jacqueline Jones, 86, went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed doing her crafts, baking, cooking, sewing, and especially being with and taking care of her family. Jacqueline's greatest strength was her concern for others, always putting others before herself. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; and son, Dennis. Jacqueline is survived by her children, Larry (Marianne) Stear, Sherryl (Bill) Wilson, Cindy (Jerry) Kirby, Tammy (Jim) Ramnytz, Kim (Mike) Guyer, and Ty (Lisa) Jones; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-children; and her kitty, Baby. Calling hours will be held Friday, July 30, from 4 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, July 31, at 10:30 am with Pastor Arnold Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Bread of Life Church, 1360 Fairchild Ave., Kent, OH, 44240.
