Jacqueline Sue Lichtenberger

Jacqueline Sue Lichtenberger, 68, passed away January 20, 2022. Born December 17, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Grace (Reese) Butera, she was a lifelong area resident. Jackie was known for her smile and loved her cats. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, watching crime shows, baking cakes and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents Jackie was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Butera, Johnny Butera. She will be sadly missed by her partner of 25 years, Arnold Lackey; daughter, Angie (Jason) Horton; granddaughter, Penny; former spouse, John Lichtenberger; siblings, Elaine (Pat) Ferguson, Frank Butera; nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 4 to 5 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jackie's name to the Humane Society of Summit County.
