Jacquelyn A. "Jackie" Houston, age 85 of Akron passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. A lifelong resident of Akron, Jackie was born to the late Lawrence and Ruby {Fox} Bechter.
Jackie's memory will always be cherished by her children, Barbara (Jim) Kinsinger, Tami (Carlyle) Scales and Jeff Houston; grandchildren Heather (Mitch) Walma, Deidre (Nathan) Davis, Rebecca Poole, Megan Poole, Jeff Houston and Josh Houston; many great-grandchildren; sister Pati Ridgway and 3 nieces.
Jackie had a goofy and fun-loving personality, and was a lifelong, talented dancer. She enjoyed crocheting and doing jigsaw puzzles, but everything came second to spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Jackie's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Altercare of Brimfield Post Acute Care for their care of Jackie in the last few years, and especially in her final days, as she battled COVID-19.
