James A. "Al" McGlocklin, 56, went to sing with the angels on February 3, 2013. Al enjoyed spending time at the Dry Peoples Club and spending time with his family and grandkids.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel McGlocklin; brothers, Billy and Alfred; and nephew, Joshua. Survivors include his wife, Valerie; son, Jeremy (Ellen); daughter, Naomi (Roger) Tanner; sisters, Jane Chapman, of Virginia, Linda (Paul) Sheridan, of Brunswick, and Angie (Bob) Lezark, of Florida; 9 grandchildren.
Calling hours will be TODAY, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
