James W. Baughard (Hinton)

James W. Baughard (Hinton), 67, of Barberton, passed away on August 8, 2017. He was born in Akron on August 15, 1949. Jim was an avid sports fan and loved watching his favorite teams on TV. He spent over fifteen years bowling in a league with the Happy Times Bowlers. Every morning, Jim enjoyed spending time reading the newspaper. He looked forward to Sundays when he would spend time at his mother's house. They ate dinner together and watched sports before he returned home to be with "the boys".
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Harold Baughard; stepfather, Robert Hinton Jr.; and brother, David Baughard. He will be dearly missed by his mother, Betty Hinton; brothers, Robert (Pamela) Hinton III and Jeffrey (Maria) Hinton; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2017 from 10-11 followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service at Springfield Baptist Church, 1920 Krumroy Rd., Akron. Interment at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spingfield Baptist Church Building Fund.
