James R. Bray
James R. Bray, 79, of Akron, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at St. Luke Lutheran Home. He was born December 19, 1925 in Akron, Ohio to the late Walter & Marie (McAdoo) Bray and later served in the U.S. Navy. James was a life-long resident of the Akron area, was a member of Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church and retired from Key Bank. He enjoyed remodeling his home as a continuous hobby. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy V. Bray in 2000. He is survived by his children, Bill (Diana) Bray, John (Pam) Bray and Kathy (John) Chambers; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and private memorial services will be held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1815 W. Market St., Ste. 301, Akron OH 44313-7067.
