James D. Bush, 91, passed away February 27, 2023. He was U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran who enjoyed his church, making people laugh, air shows, Strickland's and spending time with his family. We have come to celebrate his life.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Merlene. He leaves behind his daughters, Pam Allen, Beth (Joe) Staudt; granddaughters, Madalyn, Lilia; brother-in-law, Gary (Dean) Richards; many nieces, nephews and close friends of the family.
Calling hours will be Monday, March 6, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Springfield Baptist Church, 1920 Krumroy Rd. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Larry Baldridge officiating. Interment with military honors will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
