James C. Hawkins, passed away at the Hospice Center on Ridgewood Road. He is survived by his wife, Eva; sons, Gary, Doug, Paul, Tom, and Jeff; daughters, Nancy and Susan; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Services at 11 am, Wednesday, Sept.1. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman with Dr. Karen Hartley officiating. In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorials be made to Wedgewood United Methodist Church on Wedgewood Drive, Akron, 44312 or the Hospice Center on Ridgewood Road.
