James Lawrence "Larry" Cochran Jr. passed away suddenly on October 24th, 2023 at the age of 66. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Lawrence Cochran Sr.
Larry is survived by his four children: Natasha Cochran, David Cochran, Anna Cochran (Aaron) and Nathaniel Cochran. His four grandchildren, Josilynn, Jayden, Brookeliyn and Damian. His mother, Betty Lou Reed (Cochran), brother David (Jamie) Cochran, sister Melissa (Tom) Feola, nephews Troy, Jeremy, Jacob (Liz), Joe (Rebekah), niece Julia, great niece, Taegan, great nephews Ollie and Peter. He is also survived by his 26 year old cat, Bob.
Larry was honored to serve in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany.
Larry was born in Akron, Ohio and lived in FL, CO and VA. He was most recently a resident of Firestone Park where he was proud of his beautiful lily gardens, fun Halloween displays and his Beatles basement where he hosted many great parties. He was an avid collector of carnival glass, marbles, toys and music. He loved being in Facebook jail, rooting for the Indians and most importantly, he loved his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, November 6, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The memorial service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home.
