James Henry Daniels Sr.

James Henry Daniels Sr., 79, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2019. He was born in Edison, Georgia on April 15, 1940 to the late John and Carrie Daniels.
He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Chrysler Corporation after 39 years of service. He attended Maranatha Bible Church. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards with friends and family, who knew him as "Little Man".
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his daughter, Bridget Daniels; sisters, Dora Cain, Johnnie Daniels and Louella Thomas and brother-in-law James Thomas. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Stacy Chandler-Daniels; children, Damon Daniels, James H. Daniels Jr. (Chawnta), Kamyia Chandler, Tawanda Chandler, and Kash-Myre Daniels; sisters, Carrie Jones and Alberta Daniels; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A committal service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to 27 Woodland Ave SE, Massillon, OH 44646.
He will be truly missed.
