James Michael Decoulos

James "Jim" Michael Decoulos, 70, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on January 31, 2023. He was born on November 11, 1952 to the late Ann and John Decoulos.
He will be dearly missed by his sons, John (Amanda) and Danny; and their mom, Helena; brother, Dennis;
Jim was a devoted police officer for Northhampton and Cuyahoga Falls. He was sworn in January 1, 1977 and retired January 26, 2006, serving a total of 38 years on the police force.
Jim was a collector of many things such as cars, guns and sport cards. He was also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan!
Friends and family are invited to visit Monday, February 20, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio. The service will be Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 S. Union St., Akron, Ohio 44304. Interment will follow after the service to Northhampton Cemetery, 1014 West Bath Road Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 44223.
