James David Dukes Sr.

James David Dukes Sr., age 75 of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, formerly of Lakemore, Ohio, died at his home on May 6, 2022.
He was born on August 16, 1946 in Central City, Kentucky, the son of the late James Henry and Wilma Laverne (nee Rice) Dukes.
Jim was a machinist and retired from Ken Tools after 38 years of service. He liked to fish, bowl and work crossword puzzles. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Lalonie Perry, whom he married on August 31, 1968; his children, James David (Christine Thompson) Dukes Jr., Tabatha (Edward) DiFeo and his former daughter-in-law, Laureen Miller Dukes; his nine grandchildren, Kayla and Justin Dukes, Abagail, Alexa, Aaron, Antoinette, Alexander, Albert and Andrew DiFeo; and two great-grandchildren, Aria Bell and Colt Flory.
Also surviving are his siblings, Joseph Dukes, Linda Bentley, Deborah "Debbie" Russell and Delores "Dee" (Joseph) D'Amico.
Other than his parents, James was preceded in death by his siblings, Larry Dukes, Gary Wayne Dukes, Sharon Laverne McCullough and Phyllis McKitrick
Memorial calling hours will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio.
