James E. Rentz, 58, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016 in Akron, Ohio. James was born on March 18, 1957 , to Earl and Donna Rentz. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and taking long rides on his Harley Davidson.
James is preceded in death by his life long partner,Cheryl Starcher; parents, Earl and Donna Rentz.
He is survived by his children, Heather (Joe) Scarlett, James and Gregory;grandchildren, Devin, Aaliyah, Hannah, Logan, Hayli, Daneille. James was a great dad and grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will follow.
