Most of all, he adored his grandchildren and spending time with them.

Preceding him in death are his parents; sister, Connie Rice; and daughter, Kelly Deboard.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Beverly Evans, of 21 years; children, Chris Evans (Tammie Collmar), Leslie Sloan, Kim Maczko, Ed (Sue) Ellis; grandchildren, Carter, Cash, Bryson, Josh, Katie, Sean (Amanda), Nick (Tiffany), and Victoria (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Kadance and Oliver; sisters, Sue (Jim) Vance and Judy Hedges; several nieces and nephews, and other family members.
