James F. Doyle
James F. Doyle, 76, of Akron, passed away January 2, 2009. He was born in Akron on December 10, 1932. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Navy in Korea. He retired from George's Wood Products after 30 years of service. In his free time, his interests included animals, fishing, and cars. Above all, Jim enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by father, Harry Doyle; mother, Audrey Stump; children, Steve, Robin, and Rick Doyle; sister, Helen Pahl; parents in law, Clyde and Stella Conley; brother in law, James Conley; and sister in law, Wilma Black. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy Doyle; son, Scott Doyle and fiancee Belinda; sisters, Margaret Knowles and Harriett Doyle; brother, Louis (Pat) Doyle; grandchildren, Ricky Doyle, Jamie Tuttle, Michael Doyle, and Coty Doyle. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Akron VFW Post 8975, 1649 Krumroy Rd., Akron 44306. Condolences may be sent to 1010 Rosemary Blvd. #215, Akron, OH 44306.
