James F. Geiger (Hull)

James F. Geiger, 85, of Akron died August 23, 2011 at Summa Hospital. He was born on April 10, 1926 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Heber and Carrie (Robinson) Geiger. He graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1943 and the Univ. of Cincinnati in 1950. He was a veteran of World War II, a mason and retired from Firestone. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Thompson); brother-in-law, Ken Murphy; nephew, Michael Murphy. Survivors include his daughter, Tracy (Randy) Hull; granddaughter, Kelsey Hull of Akron; sister, Helen (Geiger) Murphy; nephews, William and Thomas Jacobs of Pittsburgh; niece Robin Slack of Lexington, NC; special neighbor, Jane Reece.
There will be no funeral service or calling hours per his request.
