James F. Naylor, 78, passed away on January 23, 2012. James was born in W. Finlay, PA on November 27, 1933 to the late Mack and Winnona Naylor. He served 3 tours in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star, he also served in the Korean War and was awarded the Silver Star. James then worked for the Department of Defense, retiring in 1989. Most recently he retired from the Reserve Group, where he worked as a building manager. James was a 23rd degree Mason and was a member of Army Navy Garrison 102 and the VFW Post 8975. James loved gardening, travelling, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth D. Naylor; and numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include his beloved wife, Virginia, of 17 years; daughter, Ruthie (Wayne) Panczak; stepdaughters, Tami (Jeff) Hill and Val (Bob) Seek; grandchildren, Vanessa Thomsen, Toni Yaeger, Jennifer Seek, Rachel and Sarah Panczak, Thomas Hill, Samuel Panczak, and Victoria Hill; many great-grandchildren; brothers, Woodrow (Betty), Homer (Dorothy), and Arnold (Jerry) Naylor; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N.
