James C. Gish
James C. Gish, 70, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 22, 2007. He was born in 1937 in Vandalia, Missouri. James moved to Ohio at the age of nineteen, where he began his career at Falls Stamping and later worked at E.F. Hauserman, MCAfee Tool & Die, and retired from Akron-Selle. James is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sally. He also leaves one son, four daughters, and three stepsons: James (Kelly) Gish of Akron, Debbie (Dennis) Spurgeon of Cuyahoga Falls, Janice Gish of Cuyahoga Falls, Toni (Brett) Truax of Barberton, Jamie (Eric) Morris of Akron, Joe (Anna) Esposito of Copley, Ricky Esposito of Akron, and David (Tosha) Esposito of Green; eighteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. James was loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Calling hours are Monday, December 24, from 1-3 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305, with funeral service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105.
