James R. Grant

James R. Grant, 55, passed away on October 25, 2005 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Jim was a veteran of the Vietnam war, serving with the US Army. He was a dedicated member of the American Legion and the NRA. Jim loved the ocean and was a master scuba diver. He enjoyed music and playing the drums. Jim was a perfectionist at his job and everything he did. Survivors include his parents Ralph and Evelyn Grant of Akron; daughters Wesley and Kelly, both of Florida; brothers Jack (Susan) and Dale (Deborah). A memorial service will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Pastor Bruce Batcatlor-Glader officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
