James Henry Haskins, Sr.
James Henry Haskins, Sr. 88, of Akron, OH. passed away on January 19, 2016. He was born to the late Ralph and Sarah Haskins. He retired from FW Albrecht Grocery Company after 49 years of service. Jim loved his cats, gardening, and restoring furniture. He served in the US Army and was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 348. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois May; daughters, Elaine, and Lydia; sons, Richard and David. Jim is survived by his sons, James Jr. and Scott Haskins; and sister in-law, Carol (Bob) Alexander. Burial will be held on Thursday January 21, 2016 at Greenlawn Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Akron, or a charity of your choice.
