James "Jim" Harrah Jr., 54, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
Jim was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, nephew and grandfather.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Jim Sr. and Florence Harrah; cousin, Jimi Norman; and uncle, Ron Harrah.
He was a beloved husband to his wife of 36 years, Serena Harrah; a loving dad to his children, Robert (Brittani) Harrah, Tiffany (Mike) Harrah; grandpa "Papi" to his grandchildren, Jayden, Addison, and Abel; nephew, to his dearest Aunt Geneva (Ray) Congrove and Aunt Linda Harrah; brother to Cindy Harrah and Scott Martin; and uncle to Niki, Ashley, Charlie, Jared, Cody, T.W., and Ciarra; and a great friend to many he called family.
Jim was a proud car and motorcycle enthusiast. Jim cared deeply for his family and friends, always willing to offer a helping hand in any way he could. He prided himself on being a hard worker and truly found joy in being able to provide for those closest to him. The ways he has positively impacted our lives, through helpful experience, knowledge, or one of his many highly animated stories. He always made you feel engaged, enlightened, and filled with childlike joy. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, we could only imagine how many his laughs are worth.
So as Jim would say, "If you can't be good, be good at it."
