James C. Heintel

James C. Heintel, 64 of Tallmadge, passed away on May 5, 2018. He was a manager at Walgreens for many years. James was an avid sports fan; loved his Browns, was commissioner of the Akron Fantasy Football League for 32 years. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and family. James also enjoyed golfing and attending football games at Akron U.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rita Heintel. James is survived by his wife, Deb; sons, Billy and Bob (Jessika); granddaughters, Presea Rose and Jaylen; brothers, Ray (Kathy) and John (Terry); sisters, Helen (John), Adele (Ed), and Sue (Jim); and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be deeply missed.

Family will receive friends on Thursday May 10, 2018 from 4-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 11, 2018 at 11am with visitation one hour prior to service at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor David Hinkle officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
