James A. Hipple

James "Jim" A. Hipple, 66, of Mogadore passed away from a long illness on August 21, 2017. He graduated from Garfield High School in Akron. He retired from Goodyear and was a hardworking man. He enjoyed fishing and shooting pool. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and always dreamed of having one someday.

Jim loved his family and his dog, Lucy. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Cheryl (Scalzo) Hipple; daughters, Nicole (Jeff) Stevens, Jennifer Lowry, and Jamie (Dave) Beyers; grandkids, Shelby, Jesse, Emili, Danielle, Alex, Bailey, and Sabrina; and his best buddies Tony and Gary.

Friends are welcome to Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305 on Friday August 25, 2017 from 4pm-7pm, with a service to immediately follow.
