James John Lewis
James John Lewis, 61, went home to be with his parents, Charles and Helen Lewis, on August 27, 2010. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star recipient, and retired from the Kansas City, MO Police Department. James was a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post #32, and he loved life very much. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Weaver; children, Charles Lewis, Leslie Ann Lewis, and Angie (Joe) Durante; siblings, Ellen (Tom) Pope, Chuck (Colleen) Lewis, and Donna (Gene) Cutting; a host of loving nieces and nephews; and his cat, Mr. Kitty. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 2 pm at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
