James (Jim) E. Kirt "Trapper"
James (Jim) E. Kirt "Trapper", 55, of Kent, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 26, 2006. Jim was employed at Quality Synthetic Rubber in Twinsburg. In his free time, Jim loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed both hunting and trapping and was a member of the NRA and the National Trappers Association. He loved all animals and religiously fed the squirrels and birds. Jim also enjoyed country and western music. He cherished his wife, children, and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Kirt. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Cheryl; children, Angie (Dan) Radick, Grace (Steve) King, Danny (Jessica) Kirt, and Mark (Stacy) Kirt; mother, Mary Lou Richmond; stepmother, Mary Kirt; in-laws, Cecil and Martha Kolb; brother, Jon Kirt; sisters, Karen Cooper, Lisa Kirt, and Anna Kirtiklis; grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, and Trenton Piacella, Mark and Anna Radick, Isaac and Jacob King, and Wyatt Kirt. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Robert Webb officiating.
