James A. Lostetter, "Jim" or "Blue Beard", age 82, of Lakemore, Ohio, died on May 24, 2020 at The Colony in Tallmadge.
He was born on August 24, 1937 in Akron, the son of the late William and Marian (nee Stanley) Lostetter.
Jim was a laborer for many years before retiring from the Ford Motor Company in Walton Hills. He played Santa Claus for many years in Lakemore and Uniontown. He loved to read and was handy with everything, including working on cars.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, the former Marion Burkhardt; his daughters, Melissa Grayshock and Pamela (Ronald) Price; he was PAPA JIM to nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother, William "Bill" (Anita) Lostetter, one sister-in-law, Mary Lostetter, and a host of other family members and friends that mourn his loss.
Other than his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Lostetter and one brother, Jack Lostetter.
There will not be any services or calling hours and all arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
