James E. Lott

James E. Lott, 69, passed away peacefully at home September 4, 2019. Born in Akron to Olin and Bernice (Hunt) Lott, He graduated from Mogadore High School in 1967 and was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jimmy loved his dogs and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Lori (Matt) Johnson; grandchildren, Donavan, Brandon, Danielle; great grandchildren, Maddison, Samantha, Kairi, Lucas, Aimee; significant other, Lorri Hartley and her daughter, Samantha; sister, Cindy (James) Zents Smith; brothers, David (Joyce), Chuck (Joanne), Doug; nieces, nephews, Scott, David and friends.

Family and friends are invited to visit, Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. The service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
