James M. Congrove "Bouie"

James M. Congrove "Bouie", 78, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on December 9, 1935 in East Springfield, Ohio to the late Marshall and Elsie Congrove. Jim was an active member of Moose Lodge 918 in Cuyahoga Falls and a 32nd degree Mason through Valley of Akron Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed working with the kids of the Rod & Reel Club of the Moose Lodge, watching Nascar and the Cleveland Browns. Jim was the best brother anyone could ask for and a good friend to all he met.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, daughters Valerie Congrove and Kimberly Calligan and sister Joyce Coble. He is survived by his brother Robert (Lindsey) Congrove, sisters Ruth Congrove and Carol (Jim) Pinney, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call 5-8 pm on Friday, February 7, 2014 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Ernie Kemppel officiating. Final resting place will be at Northampton Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls. Memorial contributions may be made to Moose Charities, 155 S. International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539.
