James G. "Gordie" Morrison, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 2, 2019. He was born to parents James and Olive Morrison on September 11, 1938.
Gordie married his high school sweetheart, Patty (nee Cree) on September 24, 1960. He and his wife enjoyed traveling together and going on camping trips with family. Family was extremely important to him, and he took great pride in his home. Gordie worked for Consolidated Freight Ways for 37 years before retiring. He was never one to sit around, so after retiring, he took a job working for JC Penny part-time. He was an avid golfer, jokester, and he and the entire family were all active in roller-skating.
Gordie was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Doris Jean Hewitt.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Patty of 59 years; children Dave (Michele), Deanna Armbruster, James E. (Marla), Randy (Tammy), and Lori (Dan) Francis, and David; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and his nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved cocker spaniel, Baby.

A private family memorial service was held, celebrating the life of Gordie.
