James A. Patuc
James A. Patuc, 53, passed away on May 31, 2007. Born in Akron on February 21, 1954 to the late Steven and Thelma Patuc. James worked for Buckeye Waste Industries. He was an avid fisherman and spent many weekends fishing on Wingfoot Lake with his best friend Jack Machamer. James also loved football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Andrew Powell. Survivors include daughters Rachel (Brad) Powell and Montana Patuc; brothers Frank (Joyce) and Steve (Sue); granddaughter Samantha Powell; and aunts Helen and Mary Trauvetter. A funeral service will be held Sunday, 2 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Rev. Fleary Spurlock officiating. Family and friends may call from Noon until the time of the service.
