James B. Pierce, Sr.

James B. Pierce, Sr., 81, passed away March 16, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to Floyd and Catherine (Smith) Pierce, he resided in Lisbon and Ravenna, OH most of his life. James was a proud U. S. Navy Veteran, serving aboard the USS O'Hare during the Vietnam war. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. James enjoyed hunting, making wine, watching the Browns and spending time with his wife and family.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Karen Pierce; grandson, Matthew; sister, Barbara. He will be sadly missed by his sons, James (Lori) Pierce, Jr., Charles (Tonya) Pierce, Michael (Sherrie) Pierce; grandchildren; James, Jeremy, Sara, Mary, Joshua, Kyle, Angela, Savannah, Michael, Tony; great grandchildren; Isaac, Isabella, Israel, Autumn, Bear, Olivia; sister, Kathy Anderson; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of James' life at a later date.
