James L. Pollock

James L. Pollock, 81, passed away May 11, 2022 with his family by his side. Born in New Castle, PA to James W. and Edna Mae (Reed) Pollock, he resided in the Akron area all of his adult life. Jim was a proud U. S. Army Veteran and he retired from Midwest Rubber where he served as CFO. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a 50 year member of IMA and a boy scout master for 8 years. Jim enjoyed baseball, football, basketball, playing euchre and spending time with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Barbara; children, Leslie Pollock, James (Cassie) Pollock; grandsons, James M., Logan; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Sandy Stark; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. His family plans to have a celebration of Jim's life sometime in June - details to follow.
