James Dewayne Scheuvront, Sr., "Dink", age 67, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017.
Dink was born on August 27, 1949 in Clarksburg, WV, the son of the late Wilbert and Betty Putnam Scheuvront.
Dink worked for the city of Tallmadge for 20 plus years. He lived for his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved to be outside, going for walks, camping, and fishing with his family.
Dink is survived by the love of his life, the former Bonnie J. Burnette, whom he married on October 16, 1972, they have been married for 44 years; his children, Jody Scheuvront, James D. (Angela) Scheuvront, Jr., George (Kimberly) McCarthy, and
and Gerald McCarthy; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Kenny (Nancy) Scheuvront, Gail (Lisa) Scheuvront, Pauline (Bob) Scheuvront, Ruth (Steve) Frazier, Patty Scheuvront Moyer, and Erma Rucker; and his sister-in-law,
Donna Scheuvront.
Other than his parents, Dink was preceded in death by his siblings, Roger Scheuvront and Shirley Pierce.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Joshua Little will celebrate Dink's life.
Burial will take place at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
