James A. Soles
October 31, 1942 — May 9, 2017
James A. Soles, 74, went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2017. He was a retired Vietnam Veteran in the US Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family. James also enjoyed HAM radios and going to flea markets.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and step-daughter. James leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 26 years, Joan; children, Mary, James Jr.,Veronica, Anna, Lisa and Connie; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and his precious German Shepherd, CoCo.
Family will receive friends on Friday May 12, 2017 from 11-1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Funeral service to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Akron General Visiting Nurse Hospice Center.
