James Edward Taylor II, "Eddie", age 64 of Akron passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022. A lifelong resident of Akron, Eddie was born to James Edward Taylor and Sadie {Holcomb} Taylor.
Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Judy M. Taylor his father James E. Taylor and nephew Donald D. Boyd.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Sadie; sisters Gail (Jack), Patty (William) and Julie; brother Matthew (Hollie); step-children Melissa, Renee and Troy; many extended family members and friends.
Eddie graduated from Garfield High School, Akron in 1976. He worked for Kenmore Kar Kare as an auto mechanic, which was his favorite job.
Family and friends are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Thursday, January 20 from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Bob Webb officiating.
