James J. Thomas Jr.

James J. Thomas Jr., 76, of Tallmadge, passed away on January 22, 2019. He was born in Wilkinsburg, PA on October 2, 1942 to the late James J. Thomas Sr. and Anna Ruth Shaw. He and his twin brother John were raised by their grandmother, Pauline Marcon. Jim spent over 40 years working in the tire mold industry. He loved movies, especially cartoons and super hero films. Jim loved big trucks and motorcycles and had a longstanding competition with his brother John over whose was the best. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his twin brother, John and brother, Jerry. He will be dearly missed by his loving children, Robin Clute (John), Sherry Thomas (Mark), and Steve Thomas (Nancy); former wife, Linda Thomas; sister, Pauline Leichliter; brother, Dennis Baumbaugh (Kara); grandchildren, Amanda, Erin, Aubrey, and Ian; and companion, Billie Steffie. Per Jim's wishes, cremation will take place and a private celebration of his life will be held.
