James Lee Toomer, Jr.

James Lee Toomer Jr., 64, of Kent, passed away on July 1, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 25, 1960 to the late James Toomer Sr. and Barbara {Smith} Toomer.
Jamie graduated from Buchtel High School before joining the U.S. Army. He was stationed in El Paso, Texas and Germany. Most recently, Jamie was employed with the City of Kent. In his free time, he was an enthusiastic sports fan, particularly of the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to his parents, Jamie was preceded in death by his brother, David Toomer.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Aaron Toomer and Tasia Toomer; siblings, Terrence (Jasper) Toomer Sperling and Keith Toomer; grandson, Calvin Avery; many nieces and nephews.
