James (Ronnie) Walker

James (Ronnie) Walker, went home to the arms of Jesus and daughter and best friend, Cathi Marie Walker on August 21, 2007. Preceded in death by his brother, Dale Walker and parents, Claude D. & Lois F. Walker. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend, Nancy Smith Walker. His most cherished moments were spent with his grandsons, Paul and Dylon Wilson. The apple of his eye was granddaughter, Skylar Wilson and teenage granddaughter, Bailey Null; daughter-in-law, Katrina Wilson; he also had a grandson in New Jersey, Austin M. Wilson. The last four years he spent his favorite past time reminiscing and sharing his lifetime stories with his special nephew and friend, Joe Plouse. He is survived by his step-children, Michael and Angel Wilson, Cathy (Joe) Ball, Sarah and Nichole Douglas; brother, Mike (Debbie) Walker and their children, Mikey, Michelle and Stevie; his great-niece, Tonya who was special to him; sisters, Nancy Pierce, Elaine Reitz and Terry (Ron) Stillwell; and many other nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 - 7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark O'Donnell officiating.
