James A. Watkins, 61, was called home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; son, Bill; granddaughter, Bella Watkins; step-daughter, Rachelle Lyon; mother, Halcie Cramer; sisters, Sue Pletcher and Judy Hunt.
James is preceded in death by his father, Jennings Watkins; siblings, Ronnie, Roger, and Betty Watkins; and stepdaughter, Faith Lawson.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday January 10, 2018 at 2pm at H. Templeton Ministries, 994 Swartz Rd., Akron, OH 44319.
Flowers and memorial donations to the family may be sent the Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305.
